The Quality Systems Analyst primary focus of this role is balanced between providing daily break-fix support and the development/rollout of new capabilities of the quality systems used by the businesses PolyOne IT supports. This is an opportunity to work with some of the most respected SAP developers in the industry and have a daily impact on improving PolyOne's business operations. There is an emphasis on constant improvement of business process efficiency and operational excellence. This position emphasizes face-to-face interaction with the customer to build relationships.

Requires 24 x 7 availability and during certain periods may require long hours, including weekends and holidays

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support for the quality systems activities on 24 x 7 basis
- Manage and engage in multiple projects to satisfy the needs of internal business customers
-Support business by: Solving problems including transactions that are not flowing correctly & resolving system coding or configuration bugs.
-Using each support call and project as an opportunity to train the user on how to more effectively use the quality systems
- Face-to-face discussions with process owners
-Making proactive recommendations for process improvements
- Gaining hands-on experience with user activity
- Resolve Production Support cases in a timely fashion; Meet and exceed the Service Level Agreements for the department
- Own and drive technology design and implementation within quality systems, including: Functional validation of business process designs
- Driving the implementation of reports, interfaces and data conversions
- Delivery of an integrated, quality business systems platform
- Documentation of quality systems configuration, design and implementation elements allowing easy support and knowledge transfer
- Establish strong business relationships to identify opportunities for process improvements and to emphasize adoption

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience can be an equivalent
- Support experience of an SAP R/3 environment for 2+ years with emphasis on the QM module
