JOB RESPONSIBILITES
Support software development intitiatives through active participation in requirements and design reviews.
Design and develop clear test case specifications through requirements analysis.
Perform functional, regression, integration and performance testing.
Ability to execute SQL commands for data verification
Update and maintain test cases.
Review and provide input to requirements/design documents
Identify test cases from requirements/use cases
Design/develop detailed test cases
Execute and maintain test cases
Develop testing requirements matrix
Coordinate defect closure/resolution
Develop expert knowledge across entire application
Lead testing initiatives
Estimate testing effort
Assess project risks
Analyze defect trends
Work with automation resources to develop scripts
Prepare test summary report

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
5-7+ years of software testing.
Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
3+ years of experience in requirements analysis.
Capable of clearly communicating complex issues to coworkers (peers, developers and managers) both locally and remotely.
Proven track record of managing multiple, diverse projects simultaneously in a fast paced and fluid environment.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
Detailed oriented and strong knowledge of software testing methodologies including automated testing best practices. Experience with ClearQuest preferred.
Experienced with Rational Unified Process, OO analysis and design, SQL databases.
Proficiency with Windows server operating systems and SQL Server.
Motivated, self-starting and team oriented.
Customer focused/service oriented.
Ability to recognize issues and trouble-shoot resolution.
Excellent communication, organization and facilitation skills.
Must be able to multi-task and meet aggressive deadlines.
Ability to work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
