Rational IT Specialist (Can Reside In Greater Los Angeles Area)

We are actively searching for Rational IT Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for both sales (leading role) and services (supporting role) engagements with a focus on driving to customer results. The ideal candidate will be responsible for participating in all technical aspects of the sale, actively participating in the identification of their customer's business drivers, building strong customer relationships, becoming and acting as a trusted advisor based upon technical credibility. The ideal candidate must participate in the development of a solutions architecture. The ideal candidate must actively participate in the communication of the proposed solution to the customer, delivering technical services to customer in support of the overall solution and participation in implementation project activities. Major Field of Study: Computer Science or equivalent. The ideal candidate must have Rational, presales and technical sales experience. The ideal candidate must have software development experience. The Rational IT Specialist can reside in Greater Los Angeles area. The successful candidate will be mobile and will work remotely with minimal travel (up to 60%) required. Our Sales people are measured on sales results so compensation includes both base pay & commission and is commensurate with experience.
