RedHat Administrator
We are looking for a RedHat Administrator for one of our clients located west of downtown Pittsburgh. This is a permanent position.
The individual chosen will be responsible for providing technical support for the installation, administration and troubleshooting of the Linux and Windows operating systems. The candidate will administer all aspects of the Linux and Windows environment to include, security, monitoring (capacity and performance), change control and software management. Manage and report on OS versions and patch levels to ensure compliance with corporate standards. Additional activities will include driver and firmware upgrades, preparing system documentation, developing system utility programs and procedures using scripting languages. Provide on-call support during off shift hours, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
REQUIREMENTS:
1-2 years of Linux and Windows 2000 / 2003 server administration.
SKILLS:
?Required working knowledge and support in the following; RedHat Linux Advanced Server, Windows 2000 / 2003 Server, Citrix, Microsoft Active Directory, Apache, TCP/IP, DNS, clustering technologies, and high availability solutions.
? Preferred working knowledge and support in the following, Citrix Presentation Manager 3.0 / 4.0, BEA Weblogic, Veritas Volume Manager and NetBackup, and SAN technologies
