Title: Regional Manager-Technical Field Support  Cleveland, OH 

 

Responsible for building and managing a 'top notch' tech support team to serve our medical lab facilities in the region that includes OH, KY, IN, MI and WI.  Travel and previous team management experience required.  The Regional Manager and the team will be responsible for correctly identifying, escalating, resolving and documenting the results for most support issues that are brought to the attention of the Desktop Support.  This is accomplished by performing internal and remote customer support for network issues, desktop issues, office automation, application questions, telephone problems, fax, videoconference, and other general inquires.  Support requests are varied and may include responding to non-technical issues.  Responsibilities also include production support of existing applications including: problem determination, potentially developing a work around for the problem, developing a solution, and implementing the solution. This requires the manager's ability to delegate and drive the execution of superior IT Tech Support with strong communication skills to deal with Physicians, Medical Directors, Billing Managers and Medical Lab personnel.  Developing a proactive team that can manage their work orders and analyze issues for trends to make suggestions for proactive changes are expected of the Regional Manager.  Requires a Bachelor?s degree in computer science or related field and two of the following certifications: MCSE, MCSA, MCDST, MCP, MOS, A+, or Network+, and 5-8 years of directly related experience or equivalent combination of education, experience and training. Must have previously managed a tech support team.
