GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position provides technical service for the Engineered Materials business and works in conjunction with the Field Sales Team and various technology personnel to facilitate the investigation and resolution of customer-related issues relating to the use of PolyOne products or services. Investigates problems, researches causes, formulates resolutions and coordinates implementation of solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Supports product line and sales w/ product knowledge, development, and application in the field
-Works with Customers, Sales, Product Development, and Manufacturing to bring new products from concept to commercialization
-Teams with sales to introduce products to the marketplace
-Troubleshoots customer problems
-Participates in resolving customer complaints
-Develops product literature & technical data sheets
-Provides regulatory information on products
-Travel to US/Canada
-Other projects/duties as assigned or needed.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent work experience
-3+ years of experience in polymer processing, basic knowledge of polymer chemistry, chemical or mechanical engineering helpful
-Must have mold design experience
-Good communication skills
-Works well in teams
-Basic PC skills and report writing experience
