MSD is an employee-owned company of over 600 professionals who support the diverse technical, scientific, and administrative needs of the Federal government. We are currently searching for a Release Management Specialist to support one of our clients. This opportunity is permanent, full-time, and on site in New Carrollton, MD.

The success candidate for this position will be a key player in an Integrated Project Team (IPT)in the Release Managment group in the IRS. This office provides and administers an enterprise-wide release plan that represents the implementation approach and schedule for delivering IT systems and services to the IRS and its customers.

The successful candidate will collaborate with partners and stakeholders to provide release-level visibility and insight into changes being delivered to the IRS production environment, helping to minimize and mitigate risks and maximize efficiency. Candidate will also identify, communicates, track and facilitate the resolution of business and technical dependencies that exist between activities within the Enterprise Releases.
