The Shelter Group is currently seeking a sharp, self-motivated, detail-oriented candidate to join our outstanding IT team.

 

This position maintains and develops customized reports for The Shelter Group using Yardi report writing tools, Crystal Reports, SQL,Access, Excecl and/or other reporting software as needed. 

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities include:

 Maintain a working knowledge of the database structure of Yardi.Understand Operational and Accounting reporting needs within Shelter by interacting closely with other departments.Design, modify, develop, write and implement reporting solutions.Monitor, identify and resolve day-to-day report application operational issues.Support users in designing reports/providing expertise in operational reporting and report development.Pull live data using query languages and structures.  Responsible for post report deployment.Provide technical assistance to other IT staff relevant to reporting/database technology.Maintain data integrity and quality and participate in data cleanup.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 Must be detail oriented and have a demonstrated expertise in all aspects of designing structured information reports, developing as hoc queries and writing queries.Strong knowledge of SQL syntax and query reporting tools.Ability to design professional presentation of reports. Must be capable of working well in a team environment and successfully interacting with all levels of the organization, including remote teams.Proven ability to manage multiple requests, tasks and requirementsStrong problem solving skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong Accounting backgroundProperty management experience, a plus.Some database design and database management skills preferred.
