Reporting Engineer
INTERACTIVE BUSINESS SYSTEMS, INC. (IBS), a 25 year-old International IT Consulting Firm, is currently expanding its consulting team to staff a new project in the Denver area and is looking for a Reporting Engineer. This is a 6-month contract with a possible option to hire.
Responsibilities:
Our client in downtown Denver is looking for a Mid to Sr. Level person for a 6 month project (may be a contract to hire position) responsible for report design, prototyping, development, implementing updates and deployment of reports according to Enterprise reporting team procedures and standards. Candidate will be responsible for assisting end users in the performance ad hoc analysis in using appropriate analytical tools.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Typically has 5 - 6 years of IT and business work experience in financial services, with insurance or reinsurance industry experience desired. Experience should include working with team(s) in reporting initiatives.
Breadth: Has a good knowledge of the principles, theories, practices and techniques for improving production reporting environments, report design, and software design/deployment processes and procedures.
Experience:? 5-6 years experience in gathering business requirements, designing, developing and deploying reporting systems.
Technical Skills: ?Ability to analyze disparate sources of data and generate data processing specifications.? Microsoft Office 2000-2003, Microsoft Access and Excel 2000, 2003, SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer, Microsoft Reporting Services experience required. Working knowledge of Business Objects desired?. Working knowledge of Hyperion Reporting desired
IBS Consultant contract compensation options include:
