Reports Analyst

Amergent is a North Shore direct marketing agency with a diverse group of marketing, creative and database specialists. We are currently recruiting for a Reports Analyst.

As part of a full service account team, the Report Analyst will be responsible for report creation/generation in support of our clients? fundraising efforts. The analyst position is responsible for the quality control of all reports. Attention to detail a must.

The Report Analyst will also provide support to Amergent?s Business Development team.

Responsibilities of this position include:


1. Gather user requirements for new reports and enhancements to existing reports. Interpret needs and design/enhance reports to meet end user expectations.

2. Produce and interpret initial report output to ensure that the end user requirements have been met.

3. Redesign reports when necessary prior to releasing to the end user.

4. Test all new reports/report enhancements to ensure accuracy/integrity of data prior to releasing reports to the end user.

5. Standardize report formats for each client niche. Automate report process where possible.

6. Update reports as needed ? weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc. Ensure that reports are accurate and run in a timely manner.

7. Microsoft Excel Macro experience a must.

8. Strong data presentation skills (report design, charts, graphs).

9. Perform other related projects and duties as required.


This position requires a four-year degree plus 3-5 years related work experience. The successful candidate must possess good technical skills and aptitude. Requires initiative, flexibility and professional skills in dealing with management staff. You must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong hands-on knowledge of the following required; SQL, MS Access and MS Excel. Business Objects and/or Industry experience a strong plus.
