Position is with a large company on the cutting edge of technology

Long Term Contract- Indefinite

Required skill set:

1. Surface Mount (SMT) and Thru-hole Component removal and replacement with soldering irons using a microscope. The components are as small as 0402.

2. Component removal/reflow using a Leister (hot air gun).

3. Add wires to PCB/PCA to correct schematic errors, design issues, and help Engineer perform signal integrity.

4. Must be able to follow rework instructions, use PCB software to find component locations, and check the unit for proper operation once the rework is complete (confirm unit powers on and boots up after the rework is performed).

5. Disassemble and assemble PC to perform the rework.

6. Setup units for testing and lab organization.

7. Capable of updating and tracking rework revisions on PCAs.

8. Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete task on schedule.

9. Strong communication skills.
