Seven plus years? experience in all types of storage technologies, including SAN, EMC, HDS, StorageTEK, McDATA, Centera, Clariion and Cisco SAN Switches, is required. Detailed understanding of EMC array configuration or equivalent OEM and ability to assess array performance and layout in a Raid 5 or Raid 1 environment as it pertains to specific customer requirements are necessary. Proficiency with EMC array configuration tools and software, including ECC and Work Load Analyzer, and Server utilities (such as SAR and Performance Monitor) is a must. Using these tools, as well as the performance data obtained from application and servers, you will draw conclusions as how to optimize performance of applications. Experience on both Windows and Unix platforms is preferred. This is a long-term contract position.
