SAP ANALYST/BASIS ADMINISTRATOR

Must be able to provide system administration support for the application areas assigned.  Responsibilities include but are not limited too:

Must be able to performed new application installation and technical system reviews;

Must be able to determined server sizing for new applications

Must be able to Apply system upgrades and patches

Must be able to perform system refreshes

Schedule and manage batch jobs

Must be able to do performance tuning and performance enhancement of assigned systems including general system troubleshooting, resolution of slow response times, short dumps and failed jobs

Performed general system administration tasks including system copies, printer setup and maintenance of system connectivity.  Education requirements:

Must have a Bachelor?s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in a related field is required.  Minimum of 1-3 years diversified information technology experience in a system administration capacity.  These positions require education, training and/or experience in the relevant technology, implementation techniques and administration for database platforms, specifically Oracle and MS SQL Server, network administration and Windows based operating systems.

Preferred skills include: 1) Education, training and/or experience in SAP Basis administration, including (but not limited to) SAP Basis, Business Warehouse/SEM administration, CRM administration and Enterprise Portal administration; 2) Experience in the administration of non-SAP systems, specifically MS.Net and/or Java based systems; 3) Experience in PERL scripting, ALE technologies and administration of SAP add-ons like Vertex and Taxfactory; and 4) Experience in the administration of middleware solutions like Bizware, Fuego, MQSeries, WebLogic, Extricity, Web Methods, Vitria or WebSphere
