SAP BW Software Engineer

My client is seeking an Architect, Business Intelligence to support the Information Systems Team by helping to develop an information reporting framework, using a group of tools, including SAP BW, Q4Bis and ABAP reports. The ideal candidate will independently drive issue resolution and apply technical alternatives while operating in a rapidly changing business environment. Will also teach and make presentations while demonstrating proficiency in group communication and working as an effective member of a team. The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree (Management, MIS, or Computer Science preferred) and 2 + years experience in SAP BW configuration and support, and SAP R3 reporting tools in order to create and maintain ODS, InfoCubes, Multi-Providers, BEX queries and Web Reports. Will have 5 + years of computer applications experience in data warehousing, including programming, report writing, and end-user support, in addition to familiarity with end-user reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Brio, Cognos, etc. Must also have experience implementing and enhancing SAP Business Content with working knowledge of SK, FI, MM and PP (AFS experience is preferred) and have superior analytical skills to think through complex, multidimensional problems and the ability to handle support calls.

Architect, Business Intelligence
This position will support the global information reporting architecture for the company. This position will help us deliver business Intelligence solutions using a group of tools, including SAP BW, Q4Bis and ABAP reports. This position is responsible for providing the tools to enable end-users to turn data into information.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
o Demonstrated proficiency in team communication and working as an effective member of a team.
o At least 5 years computer applications experience in data warehousing, including programming, report writing and end-user support.
o At least 2 years experience in SAP BW configuration and support, and SAP R3 reporting tools. Developer will support the entire BW process from extraction to end-user reporting. Create and maintain ODS, InfoCubes & Multi-Providers. Create and maintain BEX queries & Web Reports
o Experience implementing and enhancing SAP Business Content with working knowledge of SD, FI, MM and PP. AFS experience a plus.
o Willingness to handle support calls 24 x 7, with focus on customer service.
o Ability to independently drive issue resolution, develop business knowledge and relationships and apply technical alternatives while operating in a rapidly changing business environment.
o Superior analytical skills to think through complex, multidimensional problems. Ability to handle support calls.
o College degree in Management, MIS or Computer Science is preferred.
