SAP BW Specialist Permanent Opportunity!

Looking for a SAP BW Specialist for an Electronics manufacturing company based in Long Island NY.

 

This is a permanent position with NO Travel.

 

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

 

Support all aspects of the SAP Business Warehouse (BW) system. Configure and provide administration to supporting user**s informational requirements for all companies.

 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

Configure SAP Business Warehouse (BW) module to support company informational requirements.

Collect and document informational requirements.

Provide data base design and configuration, data extraction configuration, testing and data verification.

Perform system administration, including user administration, job processing, troubleshooting, system configuration and maintenance.

Provide user support and assist users in data validation and Excel.

Create reports based on user need in the BW Bex environment.

 

ANCILLARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Research new product development and/or new releases of BW .

Responsible for the business reporting needs of the company.

All other duties as required or needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Knowledge of BW configuration

Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, File Transfer Protocol (FTP)

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Detail Oriented

Customer service oriented

Ability to work independently or as a team member

 

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 

BA Computer Science

3-5 years related experience

3-5 years hands-on configuration and support experience, including system upgrades

3-5 years experience in Programming

Experience with 4.6.C or greater release of SAP R/E

SAP certification a plus
