JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:
Responsible for Functional Design, System Configuration, Quality Assurance, Release Management, and 2nd Level Support of the core SAP ERP business platform in the Finance / Controlling functional area at White Wave Inc.
Within the limits of company policy and procedures and governing regulations is responsible for the progress of quality work and has the authority to accomplish duties as assigned. Candidates must be customer-focused and have demonstrated strong teamwork, communication, problem solving, and organizational/planning skills. Specific duties include analysis, design, user requirements documentation, configuration to implement required functionalities, conducting/coordinating/supporting unit, integration, regression and user acceptance testing, developing and maintaining system design documentation and test scripts in support of the WWF business systems.
Requires 5+ years of experience in an SAP ERP environment in the FICO modules. Experience with SAP BW is desired. Salary dependant upon experience level.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works closely with the SAP Business Solutions Manager, User Liaison, user community, SAP development team and other WWF team members on IT projects.
- Partners with internal customers to address their business needs
- Translates business requirements into detailed functional specifications, test scripts, and other system documentation while adhering to company standards
-Identifies costs, benefits, risks, and alternatives in proposed system designs and their impact on the integration with other systems and SAP modules
-Performs SAP configuration to support changing and new business needs.
- Responsible for all aspects of application maintenance including system configuration, supporting software upgrades, version control, quality assurance coordination, etc.
- Able to provide technical support for all newly developed and existing system business processes.
-Troubleshoots application problems and proposes optimal resolutions.
- Responsible for training/explanation of newly implemented functionalities of a software solution.
-Completes assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner with minimum direction.
-Able to provide on-call support and evening and weekend work as required in a 24/7 high availability environment.
-Provides leadership and mentoring to others in the company related to area of expertise
-Able to provide support for monthly and year-end financial close procedures
- Performs other related duties as may be required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
? Bachelors Degree in computer science or business related major.
? Experience with any combination of the following is desired (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Banking, PCA, CCA,COPA). 5 or more years experience in an SAP ERP environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
? Deep functional knowledge of SAP configuration and the ERP core product. Strong SAP knowledge & experience in Finance / Controlling (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Banking, PCA, CCA, COPA, etc). Report Writer / Report Painter experience is a plus. Demonstrated subject matter expertise in CPG industry best practices. A solid familiarity with assigned environments and interfaces to other SAP modules as well as other applications (i.e. (SAP ERP, CRM/TPM, BW, SCM/APO, EP).
? Ability to understand technical manuals, online technical documentation, software specifications, and systems software operations. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an effective manner to people at all levels of the WWF organization.
? Capable of receiving complex business applications projects; determining the most appropriate method of achieving the necessary results; and developing, implementing and checking the resulting system changes or modifications. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain strong organizational skills. Must be able to effectively communicate well with IT team members, staff and vendors. Ability to create and provide better business practices and introduce new technology to the company staff. Must be creative, comfortable learning and using new technologies, able to work on multiple projects at one time in a fast-paced team environment. Able to troubleshoot and research problems independently as well as part of a functional team.
NONESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:In-depth business experience in manufacturing/distribution, preferably in with an industry leading CPG company.
? A current CPA license is a plus.
