SAP- Data Maintenance Analyst

We are currently seeking qualified professionals for the role ofSAP Data Maintenance Analystfor our Lakeville, MA location for the Services workforce.

These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR.  We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition. The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses.  Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.

 

Job Description 

 Responsible for assisting with or controlling updates to various master data in the SAP environment.  Includes assessing requested data changes/updates and validating changes.  Responsible for ensuring master data updates are made according to established master data procedures and turnaround times.Ensure consistency of master data between interfacing systems.Responsible for master data quality, consistency, accuracy and thoroughness.Updates master data documentation/procedures as necessary.Communicates status, issues, impacts with Functional Specialist and/or Functional Lead and relevant client sponsors and process owners.Maintains SAP master data using SAP transactions and IMG configuration. Identifies, defines and creates data structures necessary to run the business - master data includes vendors, customers, products, pricing, and other SAP data entities. Works within SAP as an extension of a functional group.  Assists with the maintenance, development and support of SAP master data.  Actively assists functional team members in supporting business needs by ensuring pertinent data is entered and maintained accurately.Resolves data-related trouble tickets.Understands full system impact of data level changes.Maintains active working partnership with key client data owners.  Respect client and Accenture policies regarding protection of intellectual property and the sharing and usage of information internally and externally.

Requirements

 

? Education: Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, accounting, business/MIS, or equivalent combination of training and related job experience. 

? No prior knowledge of SAP required, although prior experience working with SAP is a plus.

? Must have good oral and written communication skills, be detail oriented, organized, and able to work well in a team environment.

? Strong MS Office/PC Skills (ex. Excel, Word, etc.)
