SAP FI/CO Business Analyst

Immediate Responsibilities:

 


Provide day-to-day support to AP, AR, GL and CO users in North America




Respond to production support issues




Understand and support upstream business processes (e.g. purchasing/vendors, sales/customer master, HR/employees, etc.) that impact Finance




Work with users to understand specific requests for data (e.g. reports, audits, etc.) and extract / deliver the data




Tracks open issues through closure




Ensure that all business requirements are met by continuously validating the configuration



 

Long-Term Responsibilities:

 


Develop functional and best practice business process knowledge




Perform business analysis activities and identify areas of potential process improvement




Ensure that functional business requirements are met by working closely with the functional business unit




Record and document technical and business processes and procedures.




Prepare test plans and scripts; perform unit and quality assurance testing




Works with others in the SAP environment in learning / mentoring situations
Proactively participate in the integration between related SAP functions from an application perspective

 

Must Have Skill sets and yrs of experience:

 


3-5 years of SAP FI CO experience - must have configuration capabilities




3-5 years of Financial business processes with strength in Accounts Payable




Detail oriented with strong business and technical analysis skills
