SAP Functional Analysts

Job Description:

 

To configure and support information systems in a business that has implemented SAP/R3 as its ERP system. Duties will include business requirement analysis, design, and configuration of SAP's Production Planning module. Key capabilities and responsibilities include:

 

Configuration and enhancement of SAP?s Production Planning module.

 

Integration of PP with other SAP modules.

 

Develop functional specifications for the developmental activities including interfaces, enhancements, data conversions, user exits & reports.

 

Having PP as primary skill set  is a must. Some experience in Materials Management and Quality Management modules required. Experience in PP to WM interface will be a plus.  Experience with Variant Configurator and configurator related processes highly desirable.

 

Should also have experience in implementing end to end processes and ability to manage projects across SAP modules. Strong analytical skills and ability to recommend and support re-engineering efforts.

 

The candidate must be effective in gathering requirements from the business users, know the appropriate SAP options, and be able to strongly articulate the pros and cons with each option. Strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate should be able to lead SAP enhancement and implementation projects.

 

Required Experience:

 

Must have at-least 5 years of solid SAP functional experience with PP/MM/QM R/3 modules with main strength in PP; prefer at least 3 of those years at release 4.6.

 

Since this company is moving to SAP ECC 6.0 version, experience with ECC 5.0 or 6.0 will be a plus.
