SAP HR Configuration Analyst

A direct hire permanent position is available with our client in the western Detroit suburbs. The position of SAP HR Analyst is at a $1 billion dollar international manufacturing company. They are seeking an SAP HR professional to work out of their Corporate Headquarters. The HR Analyst will be responsible for all activities from process mapping, designing, configuration, requirement gathering, writing functional specifications, user training, documentation, on-going maintenance and enhancements.

Candidates should have very strong knowledge of HR business processes and implementation processes in SAP specifically in HR and Payroll. Including, schemas and rules, maintenance of wage types characteristics, processing classes etc, wage type accumulations, garnishments, tax, deduction, process, benefit integrations, posting to GL, configuration of payroll reports, creation of HR Forms, BSI tub updates, year end adjustments, W2, etc. Additionally the candidate should have knowledge in the benefit areas including configuration and maintenance of benefit plans, and open enrollment; any experience with flex plans is also desired. Experience in personnel administration and organization management is also desired, but not required. A minimum of four years of hands-on experience with SAP HR configuration is required, but we would prefer four years of practical business experience in a HR related position. Also, an understanding of integration of SAP HR to other SAP functional areas is needed. A bachelor's degree is also required.
