SAP Quality Stage Developer
? Successful candidates for this position will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining highly complex Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) processes utilizing IBM's Quality Stage (formerly Ascential) toolset in the support of data warehouses, data marts and operational data stores.
? Position will be involved in determining appropriate design for ETL applications and gathering information to determine data sources, data targets, data definitions, data relationships and business rules.
? Participating in high-level and detailed analysis and design efforts focusing on extract, transformation, and loading of data.
? Assisting data modeler/data warehouse developer in reviewing staging, data warehouse and data mart models for completeness and the ability to load.
? Responsible for documenting ETL maps, batches, and processes.
? Recommending continuous improvement efforts as ETL best practices and standards to the development of enterprise data warehouse.
? Ongoing production support and process improvements.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
3-5 years experience developing applications with the product. Currently we are seeking candidates to assist our client with the design and development for an application. Focus is on development of data conversion mappings and programs using ETL (extract, transform, load) tools, such as: IBM Quality Stage (formerly Ascential),
REQUIRED SKILL SET, RANKED BY IMPORTANCE:
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field or comparable experience and continuing education related to the job.
? 3-5 years of relational database development, implementation and support experience
? 2-3 years experience using ETL (Quality Stage) software.
? Proficiency with ETL (Quality Stage) software within the financial/services/insurance industry.
? IBM Ascential Quality Stage
? Data conversion, Data migration
? Oracle RDBMS
PLUSES:
? Experience with CRM a big plus.
? Experience with Quality Stage Server administration a big plus.
? Solid understanding of mainframe technologies is a strong plus.
