SAP Security Administrator

Contract to Hire  (No Sponsorships)
Longmont, CO

Will spend 2-4 Months in Thousands Oak, CA for Training ALL EXPENSES PAID

Responsibilities:

Defining and developing security standards. Implementing authorization role based security in SAP and other tools.

Creating and maintaining SAP user profiles, roles, SOX procedures for user profiles.

Supporting existing SAP environment from an SAP security perspective.

Working with business users, functional and technical team to define security needs. Participate in user meeting and requirements gathering from security perspective.

Understand Amgens security policy and provide industry expertise to improve it. Perform security reviews as per corporate guidelines, regulatory guidelines and compliance guidelines.

Recommend changes / improvements needed for security policies.

Ensure data, objects, process security.

Work with tools such as EDI, Adobe forms, Cronacle, SER (OCR Imaging) and other tools and determine check points for security.

Define process for changes in user profiles. Define security administration policies.

Testing of SAP security with the functional and technical users.



Requirements:

6+ years IT experience in similar role including 4+ years with SAP security.

SAP Basis / Security certification a plus.

 

Backend Process Expereince

 

SOX experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Information Systems

Thorough understanding of SAP security architecture, roles, authorization, SAP profile generator and user id transactions.

Troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Understanding at a high level the compliance requirements from an industry perspective.

Prior experience in Healthcare, SOX compliance a plus.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and documentation skills
