SAP Training

A Fortune 500 consumer products manufacturer has partnered with OutHire, an executive search firm, to recruit a Manager of SAP Training. This growing organization is preparing to undergo a major SAP implementation for their domestic and international operations and is building a team of SAP professionals to lead this project and remain with the company following this implementation to insure best practices are achieved and maintained.

The best candidate will be Responsible for providing instructional support to the SAP office. This includes the development of training materials, training other in house trainers, coordinating training and ensuring successful outcomes for business process and technology enablement training. Additional responsibilities will include managing and facilitating organizational change management activities. Some of the job duties will include..
Conduct SAP training needs assessment.
"?Work with business process owners to develop course agendas and needed content.
"?Develop course materials, reference materials, case studies and exercises by using standard formats and methodologies.
"?Work with process teams to identify and manage training issues.
"?Define training data requirements and create data in SAP training environment.
"?Test training materials for clarity, accuracy and ease of use for end user.
"?Maintain online help documents for specified functional areas.
"?Develop needed training plans and coordinate large-scale training efforts.
"?Facilitate change management activities by assessing and monitoring risk, engaging and communicating with stakeholders and addressing organizational impacts.
"?Performs such individual assignments as the Vice President, SAP Project Manager and/or other management may direct; establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the organization, the Group, the Company, and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.

Required Skills:
Bachelor"&tm;s Degree, preferably in Training and Development and 2-5 years of related field experience. Previous experience should include prior experience in facilitating various technical training courses.
"?Strong public speaking skills with the ability to deliver effective presentations to varying size groups.
"?Knowledge of training methodologies including the application of training principles, concepts, practices and standards.
"?Strong computer skills, including experience with desktop applications such as MS Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
"?Prior SAP experience preferred.
"?Strong written and analytical skills.
"?Able to work with people in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitments to goals and objectives.
"?Ability to create positive energy and motivation in both individuals and groups.
"?Ability to travel domestic or internationally as the need arises.
