SAS Applications Admin
Provide support for the SAS application server by maintaining the application environment and supporting the users. Provide support and expertise on Hummingbird Exceed x-emulator. Coordinate troubleshooting and make recommendations for the configuration of the SAS application as it pertains to Teradata and UNIX. Coach and mentor team associates on UNIX and SAS, helping them to develop a deeper understanding of the tools. Communicate and maintain relationship with Level 2 support organizations (across team/enterprise).
SAS administration: Expert Level Skills on E-Miner, Base SAS - UNIX version, Media Level Forecasting Tool. UNIX application system administration skills: A strong understanding of how to support applications in a UNIX environment and configuration of x-emulators. SAS developer: Basic knowledge of SAS development and ability to assemble proper code syntax for most common SAS statements. UNIX administration: Strong working experience with UNIX, preferably AIX. Working Teradata knowledge and how it relates to SAS. Ideal candidate should possess Strong SQL skills strong preferably on Teradata and Oracle.
