SAS Developer Position

SAS Developer One of our clients has an immediate open position for SAS Developer.

 

Primary or Mandatory Skills

  * Strong programming skills - SAS (3-5 years practical experience)

* Oracle SQL

* Understanding of JCL, MVS, InfoMan and ChangeMan is desired.

 

* Strong communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships with customers through proactive communication and delivering results

* Commitment to meeting deadlines and flexible to changing business needs

* Self starter, and ability to work with minimal direction

* Demonstrated ability to make recommendations based on analysis and present data with the format and content that drives business decisions.

 

The following skills are a plus:

* Familiarity/experience with OLAP tools is a plus - SAS/Futrix

* Familiarity/experience with UNIX command language

* Web site development

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

* Development, test and implement reporting deliverables and automate leveraging the established scheduling

* Participate in system conversions and other cross-functional projects, understanding the impact on data and reporting processes

* Provide input into requirements/enhancements in data sources and data infrastructure to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and analysis

* Ensure consistent definitions are used in reporting and analysis
