SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR, IT

MENTOR CORPORATION, a leader in developing & manufacturing medical devices, is seeking a very knowledgeable & experienced professional to ensure data confidentiality, integrity and availability by designing and implementing security policies/procedures. Will be responsible for intrusion detection & prevention, incident response, provide fast, real-time infrastructure intrusion response, security compliance. Will also perform audit tracking and management reporting, provide effective network domain security design and management, test and implement strategic security technology. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications include BS in Computer Science or equivalent related experience. Must have IDS/IPS experience; 3+ years background in an enterprise Windows NT/2000/2003/XP based environment; 2+ years experience in designing & implementing security in a Windows base network and experience in a WAN environment. Demonstrated knowledge of security monitoring, tracking & scanning tools as well as familiarity with Data Center Operations or Network Operations Center environments necessary. Security Qualifications a plus.
