SENIOR PROGRAMMER ANALYST & PROGRAMMER ANALYST

We currently have an immediate need for a SENIOR PROGRAMMER ANALYST and a PROGRAMMER ANALYST for a Louisville-based provider of market research data. 

** Direct hire positions -- begin work immediately **

Primary Responsibilities:Support activities for a syndicated market tracking survey with responsibility for enhancements, regular maintenance, ad-hoc analysis and reporting Develop a new data management and reporting system, as well as manage existing data systems Convert designs and specifications into computer code.  Run tests to find errors and confirm that programs meet specifications. Product support for marketing analysis, market research and economic forecasting activities and carry out secondary marketing analysis. Analyze survey response data and apply skills to draw insights from the data. Create and analyze ad-hoc reports to assist customers wanting to understand market changes. Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes and corrections.

Qualifications:Ability and aptitude to move from technical programming to the analysis of business data and processes on a routine basis. Strong written and verbal communication skills a must. SAS experience preferred Able to interpret numbers a MUST Four-year degree
