SENIOR STATISTICAL & DATA ANALYST

Use your knowledge of mainframes/PC?s to build a career and help impact on our efforts to provide accessible, cost effective care. This position will focus on the research, design, development, implementation and coordination of accurate and timely data sets/reports for the Utilization Management Department.
Responsibilities will include:
ensuring integrity of databases and program files
analyzing reporting needs and current data retrieval methodology
monitoring production of standard/special user-generated data sets/analysis
providing statistical/analytical support
utilizing SAS, SQL and related technologies to extract and analyze pertinent data
handling a variety of related duties as assigned
To qualify, you will need a Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics, and 2+ years of SAS User/MACRO or related statistical/programming experience in a health insurance, financial, actuarial or similar industry. Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Aptitude for logical reasoning, along with a background in related technical programming or with statistical projects will be expected. Knowledge of SAS, SQL and/or RAMIS essential. Familiarity with Plan products and files a definite plus.
