SENIOR SYSTEMS ANALYST

SENIOR SYSTEMS ANALYST (Bethesda, MD) ? Responsible for performing research, analysis, design, creation and implementation of business systems to meet current and future user requirements.  Modify and maintain existing systems to address changes in business processes.  Reporting directly to the Manager of Information Resources, function as workgroup leader for a project team or as a technical specialist.  Provide financial input on department or project budgets, capital expenditures or other cost estimates.  Responsible for supporting existing systems and large projects and supporting and developing systems in a minimum of one environment. Provide assistance and work direction to aid other associates in their development.   Develop and manage all parts of the project plan with minimal assistance, including schedules, deliverables and measurements.  Plan and coordinate complex implementations overseeing the quality control of systems functional design and implementation, client operations design and implementation, and client training and conversion.  Make short-term plans for the team to effectively utilize resources and manage the customer satisfaction process while being accountable for addressing concerns.  Responsible for providing estimates of the required work necessary to complete client projects.  Function as a technical resource for other team members and train/mentor other team members, peers and clients as appropriate.  Lead multiple projects to successful completion, within time and budget constraints, while following Information Resources standards and meeting client business needs.  Position requires: Master?s degree in Operations Research or Industrial Engineering; 2 years of experience as a Senior Systems Analyst, Senior Model Analyst, or related; 2 years of experience with the Design and development of forecasting models in a revenue management application.  Must have some prior experience with: C/C++/SAS programming and Unix tools; Data mining software; and Mainframes.  Please send resume to:
