SENIOR WEB INTERFACE DESIGNER

Join one of the nation's premier companies as their Sr. Web Interface Designer at their Corp. HQ in the greater Cincinnati area. In this role you will be responsible for design, development, and creation of user-centered designs for customer and consumer web sites. You will design HTML prototypes and interaction of web-based applications. You will design and evaluate visual human interfaces utilizing user-centered design principles. You will work with the marketing and operations team to design online user experiences. You will determine the size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layouts based upon available space, knowledge of layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts. You must have a HS diploma and 3+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must have demonstrated skills in graphic applications, HTML development tools, and other applicable authoring tools; web production, front end development using programming and scripting languages. Must be able to integrate design into program rules and system architecture and create innovative approaches to improving the end-user experience. Must be familiar with platform/browser compatibility and basic usability issues. Must have knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts. Having a Bachelors degree in Information Systems or Graphic design would be a plus.
