SOFTWARE CONSULTANT

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE All candidates must be fluent in English. Competency in French, German or Spanish is a plus. Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or Event Management (Hospitality) is desirable. Demonstrated skills in Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
PREFERRED TECHNOLOGIES AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIESDatabases: ORACLE, SQL Server. Tools: ASP.Net, Crystal Reports. Enabling Technologies: Java, XML/XSL. Server Operating System: Windows 2000, XP.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide internal and end user training to peers, at client sites, or remotely via tools such as NetMeeting. Review business processes, develop efficiencies and implement solutions to client industry requirements and organizational objectives. Develop documentation and add to software and industry knowledge base for internal and external customers. Create and maintain computer-based training. Implement software at client sites while interacting effectively with all levels of an organization from clerk to executive level. Extensive travel is required.
