CDI has an opening in Phoenix for an AIX/UNIX Systems Management Specialist.

Project Description and Tasks Server build team. Solaris and AIX primarily all complexities.
Special Skill Requirements UNIX job description:
Located in PHX- This job cannot be performed remotely.
Experience with Jumpstart/NIM server.
Strong knowledge of Solaris 8,9,10 and AIX 5.3 with micropartitioning - Minimum 5 years experience
Experience with Veritas volume manager and filesystems - Minimum 2 years experience
Experience with the implementation, configuration of the Veritas (VCS) and IBM high availability (HACMP) products.
General network skills required in support of Ethernet, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, NIS+ and FTP. LDAP would be a plus
Experience with SAN HBA and LUN configuration on the server side.
Must be familar will SAN multipathing software.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
Strong team player and must possess excellent communications skills including effective, conversational English
