SONET/DWDM Network Technology

Intratek Computer, Inc. provides IT services to many Local, State, and Federal government agencies. Currently, we are looking for experienced candidates with excellent knowledge of SONET/DWMD Network Technology in several locations across the country. 

 

The ideal candidate's responsibilities in regards to the SONET/DWDM infrastructure network related areas:  assistance with cutover of existing circuits, installation of new circuits, technical training on SONET/DWDM infrastructure,  network theory and equipment (including test equipment), provide continuity during absence of Government personnel, support duties related to equipment outages, maintenance of system equipment, and the development and maintenance of network documentation and continuity manuals as required.

 

The ideal candidate shall provide resume with documented experience in SONET/DWDM network technology.  The resume must document expertise and experience to support the requirement.  The candidates shall have recent experience in planning, preparing, implementing, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting the cutover of circuits that have been transitioned to a SONET/DWDM infrastructure.  Documented experience and ability to demonstrate technical skills/abilities with the following technology is highly desirable:

? Nortel Network Equipment (to include optical network equipment)

? Network Testing Equipment (to include but not limited to the equipment listed below)

? DSP-4300 - Fluke Networks Digital Cable Analyzer

? USAF-AMC-P1 - Acterna Test Equipment Special Bundle to include Line items

? EMTS5100E - MTS 5100e Mini Optical Test Platform

? 2230-ENG - 2230 E1/Data Communications Module, English version

? TTC2230-FREQ - Frequency OffSet Generator Option

? DA3400-P2 - SNIFFER TECHNOLOGY (DA/3400 ETHERNET LX)

? 2260/04 - Optical  Analyzer - 1450-1650nm Monitor Output

? 2260/90.11 - PMD Test Kit for OSA-155 (Kit A)
