TITLE: SOX IT Compliance Officer

DESCRIPTION:
-Candidate will be working as a Sarbanes-Oxley IT Compliance officer at a major International Company on Long Island.

- This person should be well versed in IT compliance and should have an IT auditing background.

- Must be able to review what has been done to date on compliance within the corporation and write the process control manuals.

- Will be working with the policy, procedures, and general computing control area and will put together the process manual that will work off of the risk analysis from the IT audit.

- Will be looking at the current controls and building the policies and controls around this.

- Will be involved with the front end - interviewing the control owners, determining whether "this is a full process" etc.

- Should be a good translator and will be responsible for writing the process control procedure.

- Candidate should know the COBIT and ital rules.

- This position DOES NOT include testing or QA work.


QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be CISA certified.
- Able to start this position immediately.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential - since you will be dealing with high-level executives.
