Job #1: SOX Process Specialist

Required Skills: IT Control / Process Management, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) in IT, IT Audit, IT Security and Control, familiarity with Mainframe and Distributed Systems, Issue Management

Job Description: STG is looking for someone with 5-7 years of IT Process knowledge for their automotive client. This position will assist in creating and maintaining common IT general control designs for program development, program change, access to programs and data, and computer operations. The individual will be responsible for responding to requests for clarification from application teams, ensuring new applications implement the controls, and working with other process groups within ITM to ensure compatability. Adapting processes and control documentation to reflect the current control environment and work with the SOX Remediation team to optimize solutions.


Job #2: SOX Project Manager

Optional Skills: DB2 UTILITIES, DB2, CICS, IMS, Second Language - Spanish, Knowledge, experience in Distributed Environment

Minimum Experience: 2 years of Project Management experience and/or 6 months of SOX experience and/or 6 months Controls (COBIT) experience, 5 years Mainframe experience
Job Description: Work with up to 15 different Application Teams to Track, Monitor and Report Deficiencies and Remediation Plans. Will be one of four Deficiency/Remediation Managers which will work as a team to consolidate, report and explain issues to Management. Each Manager will be responsible for his/her own set of Application Teams and their progress. Applicant will need to monitor/understand Deficiency and be able to evaluate and document Remediation Plan. The will also do Project Management Tasks for common remediation plans spanning across the organization and/or IT environment. Their responsibilities include working with SOX Controls Documentation Team to insure all active Remediation gets accurately captured within the new controls documentation after/while working with Application teams to insure Remediation gets implemented and successfully tested.

Job #3: Distributed Security Specialist

Minimum Experience: 5 years of Security experience in UDB, Oracle, Sybase and Unix; ability to work with multiple applications with different IT infrastructures to help support common approaches to restricting access and monitoring that access

Assignment Details: Work for SOX PMO, but allocated to another team to help support the process of implementing restricted controls around distributed environments and establishing monitoring reports. Responsibilities would include reporting/monitoring progress; problem solving - support of application teams; design & coding of solution; implementations; and documentation of solution. Very high visibility, with time pressure.

Optional Skills: SARBANES OXLEY ACT IMPLEMENTATION IN IT, IT AUDIT EXPERIENCE, FAMILARITY WITH TECHNICAL TERMINOLOGY



Minimum Experience: 5-7 years of IT Process knowledge, Project Administration; Issue Management, Organizational Skills, Ability to read Legal and Regulatory documents and assess impact

Assignment Details: This position will assist in monitoring status for the 58 application teams and various Operational controls regarding SOX implementation and compliance. Weekly reporting of status will be required. Additionally, this role will monitor various sources for changes in Legal and Regulatory requirements from external and internal sources to assess impacts to the SOX efforts. Coordination of follow-up activity including meeting scheduling, assigning action items, and working with Project Management to implement changes. This role will also support the communication team in executive level communications as needed and participate in project related tasks.
