Position 1: QA Engineer
Location: Bradenton, FL

Job Description
Test Engineer needed to test web based Business Intelligence applications. Qualified individuals will plan, design, and build test suites including both manual and preferable automated tests (plan on moving to automation tools) using industry accepted testing methodologies and tools. Candidate must have the ability to learn complex analytical systems quickly with minimal assistance. Candidate must possess a proven ability to complete detailed assignments accurately in a timely fashion. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or significant professional experience.
4+ years experience in object-level, system-level, and/or GUI testing
Strong understanding of QA methodologies including Stress, Performance, and Usability testing in a client-server, web and database environments
Intensive experience in creating test cases from formal to semi-formal requirement documents
Recent experience with .NET environment
Good knowledge of following operating environments: NT, Windows 2000/2003, Linux
Knowledge of n-tier, web application system architecture, IIS 6.0 is a plus.
Knowledge of VB script and/or Java script programming languages
Experience with Oracle database and PL/SQL / SQL
Experience writing and executing automated tests using commercial test tools (nice to have)
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
System and/or software debugging experience


 

Position 2: SQA Analyst

Location: Bradenton, FL

 

Years Of Experience:

3 ? 5 years of Quality Assurance and Testing experience.

Quality Assuranse & Technical Experience

3 ? 5 years of testing experience in a customer-driven client/server environment.

Proven experience working through a complete life cycle development effort.

Capable of completing complex tasks with minimal direction or supervision.

Experience with Oracle Applications (HRMS/Payroll/Finance) ? preferred, nice to have but will consider w/o

3 ? 5 years of work experience with RDBMS (Oracle preferred), SQL, PL/SQL, Unix, Windows NT operating systems, Oracle Forms 4.5, Oracle Report Writer 2.5, or Internet Technologies (Java, HTML), and Browse.

Familiar with reading & creating basic SQL scripts.

Demonstrates the ability to understand technical problems and provide recommendations.

Working with knowledge of software testing tools.

Working knowledge of defect tracking tools.

Working knowledge of configuration management tools (work flow, version control tools).

Job Summary and Scope of Responsibilities

Responsible for auditing and monitoring all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle for projects and enhancements. This position plays an essential role in defining and documenting new and improved processes and methodologies.

Responsible for producing and projecting test approaches, providing time estimates, writing test cases, executing test cases, identifying risks, and recording and reporting results of test efforts on new and existing software systems in a faced paced environment. This individual is also responsible for guiding QA Analysts in their testing efforts.
