SQL DBA Helpdesk
Excellent opportunity for a junior level SQL DBA to provide helpdesk support for Data Services and earn their place for advancement to a data modeling opportunity. Provide production database administration, performance monitoring, and tuning. Backup and Recovery planning. Data Dictionary maintenance. Collaberate with the Data Architect on strategic system planning. Assist development staff with application design as it relates to data availability, access methods and data manipulation processes. Maintain development and Quality Assurance database environments. Accomplish restoration of system databases to return to business operations. Other duties as assigned.Exceptional customer service and communication skills.1 to 2 years of experience in Database Administration of MS SQL Server database systems.Experience installing and configuring MS SQL Server and related client software.Experience using monitoring and troubleshooting utilities to effectively diagnose problems.Experience configuring replication and other data transfer methods.Experience analyzing query and stored procedure performance.
