SQL Developer

ACC Staffing is currently seeking an application developer for a permanent placement/direct hire opportunity in RTP. The Application Developer will be responsible for designing and developing studies using our client?s software, writing SQL based edit checks (data validation) for studies, creating programs to transform data between various data sources, and writing reports.

Position Requirements:
* 1+ years SQL language
* 1+ years RDBMS experience (SQL Server or Oracle preferred)
* Stored Procedure and Trigger programming
* Relational database theory and relational data manipulation
* Understanding of logical relationships in data

The following skills will be useful but are not requirements of the position:
* Visual Basic
* Microsoft .NET experience
* Borland Interbase
* Clinical Trial experience

The ideal candidate must have SQL language ability and a BS in Computer Science or related field. Clinical trial experience is beneficial, but not required. Candidate must be willing to work closely with internal customers for requirements gathering, with Quality Control for testing, and with requirements writers for formal documentation. Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communications skills and be able to work well unsupervised and within a team environment. Education will be considered in place of experience.
