SQL Server Developer/Database Administrator-Terrific Tempe Co!!!

 

Need a SQL Database Developer/Administrator.  Will need to have excellent development and administration skills with SQL Server.  Will develop new applications and do maintenance programming for database.  Need 3 years of SQL DBA experience and strong communication skills- essential since this position will interact heavily with both infrastructure and development teams. Need experience in configuring, implementing and supporting high availability strategies such as SQL Server replication. Need expertise with SQL Server performance tuning, optimization and troubleshooting.
Must have a good understanding of hardware systems so one can evaluate the database server hardware and operating system configuration for optimal configuration. Will use monitoring and troubleshooting utilities to effectively diagnose database problems and plan for future storage capacity requirements for the server and database problems. Must know how to backup and becover SQL Server databases.
Perform database deployments following change management processes. This is a developer with DBA skills, not a DBA that can develop.
