SR IT ANALYST

! Immediate need for a Sr. IT Analyst needed to support a project that will go at least through the end of the year. The candidate will work primarily with an operational support team creating installation packages of shrink wrap and custom software for workstations. The candidate must be able to follow processes and use tools to convert vendor program setups or vendor setup scripts into automated installation packages based on Progress Energy Standards. The ideal candidate should have experience with installing and configuring applications and understand the concepts in the delivery of these packages. The candidate should have a working knowledge of the XP desktop operating system; MS Office; and Internet explorer. Additionally strong candidates should have knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Installer (MSI), other installation scripts and the AdminStudio product (Macrovision?s FLEXnet). SMS experience would also be a plus. Additionally strong candidates for this position should also be able to research applications as needed; work independently; and collaborate with team members using excellent communication skills. First priority will be given to candidates with AdminStudio tool, but will consider candidates with similar tool experience such as Winbatch Script or Tivoli Packaging Tool.
