SR QA with financial experience

The position will encompass a range of varied tasks working with Front, Middle and Back office; Technology and Operations line staff in London and multiple cities within the US to:

? Design and lead the Quality Assurance program for the team
? Writes or reviews technical and performance specifications / quality levels
? Understand and contribute to SDLC process and compliance;
? Analyzes test data and writes evaluation reports;
? Investigate, maintain and discuss with project manager a list of open defects with the program;
? Evaluates, prepares and implement testing scripts and use of automated testing tools.
? Demonstrates continuous effort to improve the quality of the code and deliverables.
? Helps the teams to meet its deadlines while assuring the deliverables are of quality.
? Works with the development team to test deliverables before they go to production
? Works with infrastructure team to make sure the production environment is up and running, comparing results with the Service Level Agreements of the team.
? Work closely with project manager, business unit, and technology team to gain consensus and approval of scheduling for fix of defects and its priorities.
? Manage stakeholder expectations as well as change control process.
? Participate in system deployments with task such as QA, UAT, roll out and product adoption.
? Gather, compile, analyze, and prepare quality assurance control reports, including analyzing data for trends

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Mandatory Skills:
? Knowledge of quality assurance practices and procedures.
? Experience helping and team define clear test procedures for each of the software requirements targeted for completion.
? Experience defining and implementing automated test plans using tools available in the market.
? Excellent communication skills, analytical skills and a highly professional attitude are essential.
? Ability to understand complex business problems in order to assure the product delivered meets the needs of the group.
? Perform QA functions with minimal supervision.
? Ability to analyze situations, identify problems, and recommend solutions;
? Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
? Experience in Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.
? 3 - 5 years experience of hands on QA experience.
? Experience in software and competent use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Nice to have:
? Experience with Fixed Income Trading Systems, Fixed Income Securities environment.
? Knowledge of the Loan Syndications business.
? Experience with SQL, Java and J2EE.
