****Prior experience with managing SAP HR projects required****

 

The Senior Project Manager candidate must bring significant and varied IT project management experience ? because, using company standard processes and tools, you must execute the work as described with minimal daily supervision (but with plenty of project team interaction).  Must be a self-starter, able to work with varying degrees of ambiguity, be flexible, collaborative and fit in well with the existing culture and staff.

 

Description:Shared services contract position involved with executing SAP IT business system projects.For 1 or more simultaneous projects, and under direction of the Business Solutions Manager(s) (BSM) or other manager responsible for the project, and within established IT standards such as ESGP:Perform accurate and timely project administrative tasks including setup of and reporting on standard financial elements in SAP, create and maintain project plan, facilitate steering team meetings, execute cost management and forecasts.As needed and/or requested by BSM:Design project parameters based on standard project methodology and IT policies/practicesExecute or assist with other tasks such as: scope definition, requirements, design, architecture, development, testing and implementation of both commercial and in-house developed applications. Coordinate with other related projects, systems, IT groups and business individuals, as necessary to drive the project to completion.Monitor work effort of the development team and performance.Engage business resources to develop test plans, conduct necessary change management, communications, testing and training.Under general direction of Business Solutions Lead and/or Business Solutions Manager, facilitate team discussions toward decisions within planned project schedule.Establish priorities, eliminate obstacles and escalate unresolved issues to management.Provide complete system documentation to other IT groups responsible for support and maintenance of system.Participate in development of IT processes to streamline project development and implementation process.Perform any other tasks as required by Management to assure the successful completion of the project.

Skill Requirements:

? SAP Project Management experience (Global implementation)

? SAP HR module knowledge preferably in PA/OM, Training and Events, and/or SAP Learning Solution

? Familiarity with content creation, content organization/taxonomy, and content management a plus.

? Windows 2000 or XP

? MS Project

? MS Office

? Client Server and Web environment

? Bachelors degree in IT or related field

? 10+ years experience in project management

? Project Management Certification (PMP) is a plus

? Prior consulting and business process design experience preferred
