SR. SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Responsible for the administration of all Windows Servers and network hardware devices.  Duties may include the following:

- Building and testing of new servers.

- Installs, maintains, supports and upgrades operating systems and application software on all servers (physical and virtual).

- Manages, supports and administers enterprise servers and network devices

- Manages all DNS, DHCP, and WINS servers.

- Applies security patches and service packs to software as needed.   

 

This position requires an individual to be detail oriented, highly organized, possess the ability to develop an effective working relationship with the company?s operations? staff, and provide the tools to support the company?s business, both by working independently and as part of a team.

 

The minimum qualifications to be considered for this highly visible position within a successful, growth-oriented environment include:

 

- Bachelor?s degree from a four-year college or university or 5 years of related experience.

- Experience with Citrix, MS Office, VMWare, MS Server 2000 and 2003.

- Experience with HP Servers and Cisco network devices.

- MCSE Certification required and Cisco certification preferred.
