SR. Systems Engineer (TS/SCI)
The qualified candidate is required to be proficient with Oracle database development. Majority of the work will be handling the migration of data from legacy applications into a new application. In addition, the candidate will be called on to assist in debugging PowerBuilder code for the front-end GUI. Also, there are scripts and programs written for Perl and Java that relate to the data migration responsibilities that the candidate must be able to understand and augment if needed. Lastly, the future role of the position will involve advancing Oracle solutions for small footprint databases (Oracle Express and/or Oracle TimesTen) as well as Oracle Advanced Replication capabilities for a nationally distributed enterprise of Oracle databases.
