Incentra Solutions is currently looking for a

STORAGE NOC SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (2/3)

in our Broomfield office!

This position is a member of the Network Operations Team. The primary job function is to remotely monitor, manage, configure and troubleshoot Disk Storage devices and Tape Backup libraries at public and private data centers throughout the US, Europe and Asia.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESMust be able to work all shifts in 24x7x365 NOC. This includes nights, weekends, holidays, etc. Must be able to work 12-hours shifts (7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am) Work directly with partners and clients to install and configure Veritas or CommVault enabled backup infrastructuresSet-up and configure hardware devices from Quantum, EMC, Compag, Hitachi, Brocade, McData, Dell, Spectra Logic, Storage Technology, Cisco, NetScreen, etc.Infrastructure monitoring and management using best-of-breed applications Management of trouble tickets Performs customer installations Customer, hardware and software troubleshooting Creation and maintenance of internal documentation for Operations team

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

? 3+ years of experience within a customer service environment

? 3+ years experience with UNIX and Windows systems

? Experience with Veritas NetBackup, CommVault Galaxy software, Tivoli Storage Manager or Legato Networker

? Experience with firewall setup and configuration

? Knowledge of Oracle, SQL and or Exchange databases

? Strong oral, written communications and interpersonal skills

? Experience in the storage industry and/or HP Open View a plus

? Experience with EMC, Hitachi and Compaq fibre channel disk
