SYSTEMS ANALYST
Description:
The Systems Analyst will be part of a Lean Six Sigma core team responsible for establishing a structure for managing continuous process improvement across the Rockwell Automation business. This core team establishes standard processes for driving process improvement projects, and provides training in methodologies and tools. This position has significant learning and growth opportunity.
The Systems Analyst will manage the Project Tracking database application, serve as the primary point of contact for a global user base, support users by providing training, troubleshooting, issue resolution, account administration, and configuration. You will also respond to requests for ad-hoc data reports, work with internal/external experts to solve problems, and look for areas to further improvement and automation to ensure system integrity and reliability. This position will engage and manage IT and/or contract resources where needed for programming support.
This highly visible role will gather requirements, design, implement, test, and maintain the internal Lean Enterprise website, ensure that web site content (training materials, templates, policies and procedures) is maintained and updated in accordance with department goals and management direction.
Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring the Lean Enterprise department budget against planned and actual expenditures as well as prepare reports pertaining to key findings for review by management.
This position is located in Milwaukee, WI with no travel.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
o 1-3 years experience with website implementation, creation and Databased management
o Demonstrated ability in project management and specification writing
o Excellent verbal and written language communication skills
o Specification scoping, gathering, testing, writing and implementation
o Proficient with Microsoft Office software tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Desired Qualifications
o Bachelors Degree
o Knowledge or experience of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
o Experience with Microsoft Access and Project
o Knowledgeable in technologies including, but not limited to: SQL, HTML, Visual Basic, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver
