SALES AND MARKETING BUSINESS ANALYST 

The Sales and Marketing Business Analyst is responsible for the daily management of the company?s sales automation system (Salesforce.com) as well as the company?s prospect and client databases.  In this challenging and rewarding position you will be responsible for developing and managing the Lead Management Process for Bright Horizons and you will have ownership of the company?s database strategy. Working with business units including Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance, you will document and design business processes for the SFA system. Serving as the global Salesforce.com administrator, you will be responsible for system maintenance, enhancement, database synchronization and user support.  

 

Some specific responsibilities include: administration and management of the company?s sales automation system (Salesforce.com)managing the testing process for Salesforce.com changesproviding user support and training as neededdesigning, developing and maintaining reports and reporting systems within Salesforece.comensuring that all leads from conferences and trade shows are incorporated into the systemdeveloping solutions for integrating legacy client and prospect databasesimplementing systems for maximizing the accuracy of client/prospect information.

 

Qualifications include: BA/BS in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or other related fields; two years experience with Salesforce.com and Sales and Marketing users with an emphasis on system support, maintenance and enhancement; in-depth knowledge of the Salesforce.com application and its supporting technologies (Windows, Excel, Internet Explorer); and the ability to interact with business users and translate business needs into technology solutions. Individual must be have strong analytical skills and a business acumen. Critical success factors include: knowledge of sales and marketing processes; the ability to effectively communicate; the ability to multi-task and work independently.
