Sap Migration Consultant
In this role, the candidate will provide SAP migration, implementation, and consulting skills in the Information Management Lab Services WW Migration Center in support of SAP migrations from competing database implementations to DB2. Significant Basis experience is required along with architectural and sizing experience. Significant proficiency in a DBMS implementation is required along with tuning skills, although it need not be specific to DB2 as we can grow DB2 skills. Platform experience should include AIX, Linux, and Microsoft Windows. SAP certification, including Migration certification, is a plus. The successful candidate will work from a home office anywhere in the continental US as a mobile employee, as travel to customer sites will be needed as required. information systems. Requirements: SAP Basis; SAP Implementation; DBMS implementation and tuning in SAP environment; SAP Architecture Design; Platform Administration (AIX, Linux, Win); Technical strategy development for SAP migration;
Strong verbal and written communication skills; Technical Guidance of more junior team members; Previous customer facing experience; Work on a team to implement technical solutions; Assessment, scoping, and level of effort estimation for the migration; Candidate must possess significant SAP implementation, development, and
