JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Our client has developed standardized guideline for the implementation of firewall policy. However their firewalls are already in place with an existing policy.  This position requires a person with superior PIX and CheckPoint firewall and security policy skills in order to review large firewall policies, scale them according to the new guidelines and then implement.  There will also be the implementation of new firewalls as well.  The person will need to configure Check Point Secure Platform firewalls and policies.  Possible other firewall work involved as time permits.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

 

Excellent documentation and communication skills.  Able to work well with others in a team environment.

 

REQUIRED BACKGROUND

 

CISCO PIX Firewall experience, CheckPoint Nokia and Secure Platform Firewall experience, Excellent Security policy experience and understanding.  Solsoft experience a plus.
