Security Architect

Design and architect solutions related to security and identity management, including intrusion detection and prevention, remote access, firewalls, encryption, SecureID, PKI, and vulnerability management

Research current trends and emerging technologies related to the security industry

Work with development teams to integrate the security architecture with applications including single sign-on and role based access control

Manage the consolidation and migration of existing user authentication and access control processes into a new centralized infrastructure

Work with various organizations to implement processes to efficiently administer user access in order to manage total cost of ownership

Requirements:


8 to 10 years experience as a Security Architect, assessing, designing and validating architectures and supporting technologies.
Experience designing and implementing Directories including Sun One and Microsoft Active Directory

Experience designing and implementing Identity Management and SSO technologies including Sun/Waveset and Netegrity

Experience designing and implementing Network security including firewalls, intrusion detection, and VPN

Experience designing and implementing network architectures including wireless networks

Experience with developing security related policy and procedures, risk management and audit

Understanding of operating system security including MS Windows, Unix and Mainframe

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to generate creative, cost effective solutions

Demeanor to work well with members from a variety of departments within IS as well as outside of IS


Education:

Bachelors Degree, Master preferred

CISSP, CISA certifications preferred
